my (online) name's midnihgt. i'm 20 years old. proud filipina, but moved to a country that's cold 75% of the year. i'm currently doing a BS in computer science. i'm on my 3rd year of university. but don't let that fool you into thinking i'll be graduating next year. (i have only completed 2 CS courses. by the end of third year though i'd have finished 4!)

i work part time at secret fast food place while trying to pay off my car loan. *please don't try this at home.* i'm interested in $money$ and optimizing my finances because my long term goal is to be financially independent and retired at an early age . this is mainly because i don't want to be fixed on a schedule like a 9-5. however, i'd have to go through a 9-5 (make enough money) to get out of a 9-5. how life works unfortunately:"(

when i was a kid my dream was to become an astronaut because of my favourite show at that time, the 100. but now im pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science where i think i might go into web development or game development. it would be awesome and really cool if i could design websites for a living, or have a game that people enjoy playing.

a few years ago a friend(now boyfriend hehe) asked me something and i said "i'm not really sure what i'm interested in." then he said "how do you not know what you like? do you just watch paint dry?"

it hit me then and there that i have been scrolling on social media so much that i didn't have an actual hobby, and interests that i put my time in to. i couldn't even gather a list of books that i liked at the time.

two years have passed since then, and i now have things i can confirm i like:)
